Beside the Recognition Ceremony, we will also have a presentation by Past District Governor-John Stairs. John works closely with the key Rotary leadership in different geographic areas, to inspire Major gifts and Bequest gift support to Rotary Foundation. He serves in this capacity as a partner with nine Rotary districts, including his home district of 7080. In addition, he is currently serving as the President for The Rotary Foundation Canada, an official associate Foundation of Rotary Foundation, one of the first established in 1968 and will talk to our group about that journey and what it means for Canadian Rotarians. In fact, the January copy of the Rotary Canada magazine will feature a spotlight on the Rotary Foundation Canada, and the significant support to Rotary mission from Canadians.
We will also have our current District Governor, Lesley Barmania, presenting Paul Harris Recignations to two individuals at the event.
This is a must attend event for all and You are all encouraged to invite friends and family members to join as well.
